Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiology Technologist to join Kelowna General Hospital's (KGH) Computed Tomography. Located in beautiful Kelowna BC, KGH is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care.
This is a Relief (temporary) Part-Time 0.83 FTE position until the return of the current incumbent. This position is rotating days, evenings nights with the shift times being 23:15 to 07:15, 23:00 to 07:00, 23:30 to 07:30, 22:00 to 06:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 15:00 to 23:00, 16:00 to 00:00, 07:00 to 15:00
What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs exams and special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional radiology, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedures, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding exams and procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.
As of April 1, 2024 - the new rate schedule for this position is $38.07 - $47.52

Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program such as Computer Tomography relevant to the designated specialty area.
Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
