LABOURER/ PRODUCTION WORKER for PULP AND PAPER INDUSTRY
Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night and 1-2 years of experience.
Specific Skills:
• Sort, pile and transport wood products,
• Clean machinery and work areas,
• Assist other processing workers,
• Mechanical Aptitude,
• Use of Forklift, powered equipment, Shovel & hoses(with valid Forklift operating ticket)
• Handling weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Speak English, Read English & Write English,
• Completion of some High school,
• Working with others,
• Job task planning and organizing,
• Significant use of memory,
• Continuous learning.
Own Tools/Equipment:
Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
Transportation/Travel Information:
Valid driver's licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available
Salary:
$12.00 to $14.00 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, Vision Care Benefits
