As a Community Disability Worker you would take a leadership role in promoting the independence, self-determination and overall health and safety of the individuals in our care. You would enhance the everyday quality of life of persons with developmental disabilities by providing physical assistance, emotional support and personal care, as well as assistance with accessing recreation/leisure activities and community inclusion opportunities. Your role would also include responsibility for assisting with developing individual service plans.

Description détaillée:
We are looking for people with the passion to expand the quality of life of another, as well as the following qualifications:
2 years diploma or degree in Social Services related field of study (Social Services, Autism, Complex Needs, Child and Youth Care) or
Grade 12 or equivalent and two years of related experience
Experience working with individuals with complex medical and behavioural needs
Experience with persons with developmental disabilities and with personal care
Class 5 driver's license and driver's abstract
Insured vehicle
Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search included
Alberta Children's Services Intervention Record Check
