Detailed description:
Anything and everything within your level of training to ensure your own safety, the safety of your fellow teammates and the safety of your guests during the transportation of them. Picking guests up from their hotels and giving them a guided tour out to the Riverbase, driving guests safely to and from the river while sharing knowledge of the area en-route, taking memorable rafting photographs, handing guests their lifejackets and helmets and answering questions on the area, completing daily vehicle inspections, cleaning of company vehicles, base preparation & tidying.

Our professional tour guides will have interaction with every guest before and after their trip, so they must be self motivated, able to work alone as well as in a team environment. They are an integral part of the success of Chinook Rafting, often holding all the pieces of the operation together and therefore must be keen to help out with almost anything and everything that gets thrown at them.
