Description:
Vibratec Management Inc & Precision Balancing is a predictive maintenance engineering firm concentrating primarily on the vibration analysis of rotary machinery and dynamic balancing of rotating equipment.

We supply solutions for problem equipment in the following industries:

- mining and cement
- marine and dockside
- pulp & paper and saw mills
- manufacturing and food processing
- refineries and production plants

With accredited professionals on staff, 4 independent work stations and a variety of analysis equipment, we have become one of the largest corporation of its kind in this specialized field of engineering in British Columbia.

The successful candidate will:
-collaborate with client company personnel
-schedule site visits
-collect data from equipment in the field
-analyze data and identify abnormalities and negative trends
-prepare reports based on analysis results


Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering degree and/or technical diploma in mechanical field
- A valid canadian driver's licence and unlimited use of a vehicle
- Technical experience in an industrial setting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with basic mechanical principals and equipment (motors, pumps, gearboxes bearings, etc.)
- Experience with vibration analysis, predictive maintenance programs or reliability engineering is preferred

Good computer skills in software programs such as Word, Excel, AutoCAD and an adeptness to learning new software and hardware. Good ability in preparing and interpreting reports and technical data. Good organizational and time management skills, along with communication skills are required.
