Blue Hair Design Studio in Burnaby, BC is looking for a skilled hairstylist.
Requirements:
Over 3 years of experience in hairstyling is required
Completion of high school education is required
Basic English speaking is required
Terms of Employment: Full-Time and Permanent
Wage: C$ 13 / hour
Working Hour: 40 hours / week
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year
Job Duties:
- Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
- Provide hair care and beauty services and/or hair styling for special occasions such as wedding, graduation, prom etc.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
- Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
- Clean and style wigs and hair pieces and apply hair extensions
- May shampoo and rinse hair
- May train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers
