Detailed description:
We are looking for cooks at our Boston Pizza located at Marine Way Burnaby. The applicant should have experience as cook or basis knowledge of continental cooking including pizza, pasta and side salad preparation. The preference will be given to those who have some European cuisine experience. This is a full time position or we may consider part time applicants. Some high school education is required for this job position. We pay wages as $12.00 per hour.
The applicant should be able to perform the following job duties and responsibilities;
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
Oversee kitchen operations.
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
May clean kitchen and work area.
May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies. May hire and train kitchen staff. Work under highly pressurized work environment. Work without supervision.
