Our restaurant “Dragon Lotus” specializes in authentic Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. We are located at 5872 Beach Ave, Peachland BC, V0H1X7, which is also the location of work . We have an open position of 1 (one) Ethnic Cook. This is a full-time and permanent job.
Main duties are: preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes, supervise kitchen helpers, oversee kitchen operations, check inventory of food and supplies, order supplies, plan menus, determine size of food portions according to menus, estimate requirements and costs, clean kitchen and work area.
We expect the completion of secondary school and either completion of college (cooking, culinary) or several years of commercial cooking experience. Cantonese or Vietnamese language skills as well as experience and training in ethnic cooking would be considered as an asset.
