Detailed description:
We are looking for Supervisor at our Boston Pizza located at Marine Way Burnaby. The applicant should have supervisory experience preferably in Food Industry. The preference will be given to the applicant wish to work on full time basis on weekends and long weekends. We may consider part time applicants. Some high school education is required for this job position. We pay wages @12.00 per hour.
The applicant should be able to perform the following job duties and responsibilities;
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff that prepare, portion and serve food. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation. Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets. May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs. Work under highly pressurized work environment. Work without supervision.
