Duties
• Prepare order lists and purchase cabinets, parts, counter tops and other materials from different suppliers in China
• Assess and evaluate suppliers and products to be purchased from China
• Request quotes and negotiate price with the suppliers in China for each item that TPL is carrying
• Plan and create purchase contracts for purchasing items from China
• Negotiate price, minimum quantity, shipping terms and return policy for each item for different prices
• Develop and maintain long-term business relations with manufacturer, suppliers and related associates
• Take communication role with new and existing suppliers in China to maintain and develop the relationships, future cooperation and price negotiation
• Travel to China and visit the factory, warehouse, showroom and expo to meet with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and the manager for check inventory and create ready-to-order list
• Produce reports and maintain purchase budget cost controls
