Duties include the following:
- supervise and care for the child
- bathe, dress and feed child
- set activities for the child
- instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
- read books to child and help him with some homeworks
- take child to and from school or appointments
- prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
*Work setting is at employer’s home, Room and board provided at no cost with an option to reside in private household for the duration of employment.
*Preference to Canadians, new immigrants, live-in caregivers already in Canada, nannies with open work permit. Willing to consider caregiver sponsorship or hiring a foreign worker.
