RESIDENTIAL/COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER

Western Human Resource Corp provides support services to adults and families where disability or illness is a barrier to quality of life. Working with individuals and their personal and professional supporters, we strive to enhance self-determination, community inclusion and well-being.
We are currently hiring CASUAL support workers for our Group Homes and Day Services.
As a support worker you will work with a team to help individuals with developmental disabilities to contribute within their community, their home and their workplace.

QULIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education preferably in health, education, behavioural and social sciences.
- Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities, or in the health care field.
- Must be able to speak and write in English.

In order to be chosen for interview you must have:

- Class 4 restricted BC Driver's license or Class 4 Learner's permit
- Valid, current First Aid certificate/CPR certificate

To receive a job offer by WHRC after you are interviewed you must obtain:

- A clear criminal record check
- ICBC Driver's Abstract
- Tuberculosis screening
- Doctors Certificate of good health
