Main functions: 
• Attend to calls and emails, responding in a professional and courteous manner and directing all inquiries to the appropriate party
• Coordinate calls, appointments, conferences, event planning, and travel schedules
• Maintain and consistently update system of insurance and investment documents, and control confidential materials and information
• Assist with the development, proofreading and updating of policy wordings, promotional guides, medical and definition guides, and other supporting materials for insurance and investment products
• Organize all policy editorial and coverage changes; document the purpose of these changes and ensure their implementation upon reprint
• Assist with preparing financial reports, insurance and investment profiles, and presentations
• Maintain communication with various internal and external parties (e.g. clients, financial advisors, insurance and investment companies, etc.), and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure general office upkeep, including but not limited to ordering office supplies and completing day-to-day administrative tasks (scanning, filing, and archiving, etc.)

Qualifications required: 
• Administrative or customer service experience in an insurance and investment environment is a strong asset
• Solid understanding about insurance and investment principles
• Knowledge of Canadian insurance and investment industries is an asset
• Well-developed analytical, business writing, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Strong ability to both prioritize and heavily multitask in a fast-paced environment is necessary
• Sophisticated skills in coordinating clients, financial advisors, insurance companies and other relevant stakeholders
• Ability to exercise discretion around confidential matters
• Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially in financial modelling on Excel
