S.i. System's mining client is looking for a Manager of Cyber Security to lead adoption of Cyber Security best practices as well as manage & grow a global team. This is not a technical role and we are not looking for someone who is an expert in any specific area of Cyber Security. The ideal candidate will have experience bringing Cyber Security Awareness & marketing to the business and operations as well as leading the adoption of any and/or all Cyber Security principles and practices.
The head office is in Vancouver, BC so the preference is for local candidates that can come to do face time with the business, but we are open to candidates in Calgary that have Oil & Gas or Mining experience that would either be open relocation or frequent travel to Vancouver. This role will also require quarterly visits of approximately 1 week to the sites in Quebec, Greece & Turkey.
MUST HAVES:
- 10+ years in Cyber Security in an enterprise environment
- Experience leading Cyber Security Awareness programs
- Experience in strong business facing positions where you would be working and communicating with executives often
- Experience managing and hiring teams of 5-10 team members
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with CrowdStrike or Microsoft Security products
