Good Deal Carpets & Flooring Ltd. is looking for an intellectual individual for the position of Showroom manager for its Surrey based showroom and warehouse on full time basis. The preference will be given to those applicants wish to work on full time basis throughout the year. The applicant should have extensive experience in managing a similar kind of business or other business. The good record of business management proof is required prior to interview. The applicant should have at least 10 years of experience is required in managing a business. The applicant is required to perform the following job duties while working with us as a Showroom Manager;
Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in retail sales.
Manage staff and assign duties.
Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies.
Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets and authorize expenditures
Resolve customer complaints
Determine staffing requirements and hire or oversee hiring of staff.
The applicant needs no formal education for this job position. We deal with East Indian Community and the knowledge of Punjabi language will be an asset for this job position. We offer $25.96 per hour wages for this job position.
