Detailed description:
Newport Auto Inc, a busy automotive garage located in Squamish, British Columbia. We are now looking to hire an additional full time automotive technician.
Desirable skills and credentials:
- Red Seal Interprovincial Automotive Mechanical Service and Repair License
- Driveability & electrical diagnostic experience
- Diesel experience
- Certified to perform Provincial Vehicle Inspections
- Alignment experience
- Hard-working, dedicated, responsible, resourceful, and organized
- Strong attention to detail
Requirements:
- All applicants must have a valid class 5 BC drivers license. Due to the requirements of this position, we can not consider candidates with "N" licenses.
- Ability to drive all makes an models of cars and trucks, (manual and automatic transmission, right hand drive vehicles)
- Possess required tools, maintained in proper working condition, and upgrade as necessary
- Ability communicate effectively. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
