Care for 81 year old senior. Duties mainly include companionship, assistance with mobility, daily routine such as performing personal hygiene (bathing in particular). Perform light housekeeping which includes laundry, organize bedroom, prepare and serve nutritious meals and snack, give medication as per Doctor's order. Accompany to doctor's appointment and any other activities and social gatherings. Hourly rate is $18.00/hr. CPP MSP EI Employer paid. Qualified applicant must be willing to commit long term. Job location is at 1154 Haida Avenue Port Alice, BC. Qualifications are at least high school graduate and at least 6 months previous work experience with elderly care or valid certificate from a caregiving course.
