Over the past eight years, Ming Yuan Lighting Ltd. has been concentrating on carrying and selling quality and value oriented lighting fixtures and accessories, as well as rendering outstanding services and effective lighting solutions. We offer stylish chandeliers, designer lighting fittings, unique outdoor lighting, modern track and pendants and a huge variety of table and floor lamps.

With the expansion of our company, we are in need of a VP Marketing and Sales to facilitate business development, sales management, international market exploration, and global supplier network expansion.

Job Duties:
• Coordinate and oversee purchasing and sales staff to efficiently forecast demand and minimize inventory carrying costs.
• Expand sales networks and negotiate sales contracts with builders and home renovators.
• Oversee and coordinate new product and service launches.
• Expand global supplier networks to reduce costs and increase efficiency while maintaining consistently high quality standards.
• Set sales targets; guide sales staff to render excellent customer service and achieve and exceed targets.
• Open new international markets: identify new prospective international markets, analyze opportunities and barriers, formulate and deploy market-penetration strategies.
• Establish new international dealerships: identify prospective international representatives, initiate communications, and negotiate agreements, etc.
• Work in close collaboration with international suppliers and dealers to reinforce high quality of service, strengthen sales efforts and explore new opportunities.
• Ensure corporate and employee compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
• Minimum college diploma
• Minimum five years of experience in business development and sales management role in a relevant industry
• Minimum three years of senior management experience in a relevant industry
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication and problem solving skills
• Strong capability to formulate and implement marketing and sales management initiatives and business development strategies
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experienced in managing staff and guiding them to reach their goals
• Ability to explore, coordinate, and expand global supplier and market networks

This is a full-time, permanent position eligible for year-end bonus subject to performance review, with a fixed annual salary of $85,000 CAD. The working location is 3851 Jacombs Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 2H7. The working schedule will be 40 hours per week on average; overtime is sometimes required and compensated with 1.5 times of standard wage.
