Senior Project Manager
Senior Project Manager - Hybrid Contract Project Overview: Our client's primary goals revolve around the establishment of efficient and precise financial processes that are in perfect alignment with their business objectives through the implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. These objectives encompass the automation of financial transactions, bolstering budget control measures, and enhancing financial reporting and analysis. This is a Hybrid 1 year contract opportunity requiring 3 days on-site in the Downtown Toronto core. Deliverables The Senior Project Manager is expected to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of the priority ERP project aimed at establishing the new agency. Their responsibilities and expectations encompass the following: Leveraging project management principles, the PM will lead the organization in implementing an ERP solution to meet business needs and outcomes Manage relationships with business areas, vendors, and the internal IT team for project success. Create industry-standard project documentation and oversee project team deliverables. Document business requirements comprehensively and create option analysis to evaluate different approaches and solutions. Identification and analysis of all key stakeholders, outlining their roles, responsibilities, and influence in the project. A detailed timeline and sequence of activities, phases, and milestones required for the successful rollout of the ERP system, ensuring all teams and stakeholders are aligned on the project's trajectory. Actively drive all deliverables forward by closely collaborating and coordinating with project team members. Facilitate executive steering committee meetings to build consensus and endorsement. Oversee business analysis, system design, security, and privacy measures. Comprehensive identification of potential risks associated with the ERP implementation, accompanied by strategies and actions to mitigate these risks. Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy. Manage organization-wide communications, change management, and data preparation. Supervise deployment into the production environment and end-user training. Document future processes to ensure alignment with the ERP system. Regular updates on engagements with ERP vendors, ensuring contractual obligations are met, performance benchmarks are achieved, and any emerging issues are addressed promptly. Establishing a post-implementation support model in collaboration with the Ontario government's Service Centre and partners to ensure ongoing system maintenance and user support. Manage stakeholder relationships with business areas, vendor, and internal IT team to ensure successful project delivery. Support and lead executive steering committee project meetings to gain consensus, collaboration, and endorsement. Experience required: A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related disciplines Relevant professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments), or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) would be valuable. 10 + years of robust experience in project management roles, with an emphasis on ERP system implementations, specifically in the public sector. Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and configuring ERP systems. Familiarity with major ERP solutions like SAP, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and understanding of key ERP modules pertinent to procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. Understanding of procurement processes and regulations, best practices, and the nuances of supply chain management in the public sector. Solid grasp of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale ERP projects on time and within budget. Proven experience in leading change management initiatives during system implementations, ensuring smooth transitions, minimal disruptions, and buy-in from all stakeholders. Strong interpersonal capabilities to effectively liaise with stakeholders ranging from technical teams to senior executives within the organization. Adeptness in understanding, managing, and aligning stakeholder expectations. Demonstrated experience in crafting comprehensive project documentation such as project charters, stakeholder analyses, risk assessments, business requirements, and post-implementation reviews. Agile responsiveness to evolving project dynamics, ability to pivot strategies based on emerging challenges or changes in project requirements. Solid experience in fostering and managing relationships with external ERP vendors and ensuring optimal service levels and performance benchmarks are met. As part of an alliance agreement Aecon Nuclear has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to support the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP). Beginning in 2023 Aecon will support the validation phase design, procurement, early site preparation and site mobilization scope for the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site. Reporting to the responsible Survey Assembly Manager, this role will support survey integration and success across all bundles and direct the Industrial Survey work and personnel of the Nuclear and Conventional Islands including the Reactor Building and Turbine Hall overall construction scope including containment, equipment, Reactor Pressure Vessel, and interface with other areas. During the validation phase the Superintendent will assist in the construction planning and reviews. In execution they will be responsible for the supervision, coordination and scheduling of survey and inspection activities for multiple scopes of work in compliance with the contract and the job cost estimate and ensures all the work is completed safely to acceptable standards of quality and workmanship. What You'll Do Here: Accountable for survey planning and execution on the Nuclear and Conventional Island including methods of survey and inspection, manpower levels, materials, tools & equipment, rentals, and work schedules. Develop and monitor project Control and Measurement Plans for high precision industrial mechanical and equipment layout, laser scanning and metrology inspection activities and identify risks, and issues across all bundles. Direct coordination of control and resources between project bundles to manage survey support of construction schedule priorities. Provides input and approve safety plans and procedures for survey and inspection tasks as required. Responsible for the implementation and enforcement of safety, quality, and human performance programs. Ensures that Aecon policies and project procedures are being adhered to and followed by survey personnel. Assume responsibility for productivity of direct hire trade labour and subcontractors, efficient use of materials and tools & equipment and contractual performance of the project. Understanding and support of applicable trade agreements. Application of home company discipline policies and appropriate escalation of performance concerns to Survey Assembly Manager. Ensure survey personnel complete all necessary training in areas of safety, quality assurance, technical qualifications, equipment operation and owner specified requirements. Review and provide support in the creation of survey quality, progress, or as built documentation. Ensure project survey is carried out in compliance with drawings, specifications, tolerances and project schedule and budget. Interface with client representatives, design engineers, consultants, other contractors, etc. Ensure project is constructed in accordance with QA Programs and project quality plans. Perform regular field tours to check survey progress and meet with project site personnel. Carry out site safety inspections. Participate in company-wide initiatives aimed at overall continuous improvement. Review and approve timesheets, expense reports, vacation requests, and training requests, within Limits of Authority. Responsible for performance management of all direct-report employees, including coaching/mentoring, assistance with career planning and training, preparation of yearly and mid-year performance reviews. Ensure all project staff and direct reports understand and comply with applicable code of conduct policies (Aecon and customer policy) Other duties as required or assigned. What You Bring to the Table: Minimum of 15 years Industrial Survey Supervision and planning experience. 2 years nuclear construction experience is an asset. Knowledge of all aspects of Industrial Survey such as: High Precision Plant Control networks adjustment, High Precision Instruments such as Total Stations, Laser Scanners and Trackers. Experienced in leading Industrial survey staff in reporting of quality and project controls deliverables. Must understand how to support a positive Nuclear Safety Culture. Experience in managing major complex Nuclear or Industrial projects. Ability to read and understand construction plans, isometrics, and specifications. Must have a full appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry. Développeur DevOps Description du poste : Nous recherchons un développeur DevOps talentueux et polyvalent pour rejoindre notre équipe technique dédiée à la télématique, avec une implication directe dans la livraison de produits. Le rôle est essentiel et consiste à améliorer l'infrastructure de l'entreprise, optimiser les processus de développement et garantir que les solutions télématiques atteignent nos clients avec efficacité. Responsabilités : Concevoir, mettre en Ã..."uvre et maintenir des pipelines d'intégration continue et de livraison continue (CI/CD) pour nos applications télématiques. Automatiser le déploiement, la configuration et la gestion des infrastructures pour assurer une évolutivité, une fiabilité et une performance optimales. Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de développement pour intégrer efficacement les nouvelles fonctionnalités liées à la télématique dans les cycles de livraison. Participer activement à la planification, à la coordination et à la gestion des livraisons de produits télématiques. Mettre en place des systèmes de contrôle de version efficaces pour gérer les codes sources et les configurations télématiques. Assurer la sécurité des données télématiques sensibles et mettre en Ã..."uvre des mesures de protection appropriées. Surveiller les performances des applications télématiques en temps réel et effectuer des ajustements pour optimiser la réactivité et la disponibilité. Le savoir-faire qui fait la différence : Expérience pratique en tant que développeur DevOps dans le domaine de la télématique ou dans un rôle similaire. Connaissance approfondie des outils d'automatisation tels que Ansible, Puppet, Chef ou équivalents. Familiarité avec les plateformes cloud telles que AWS, Azure ou GCP, ainsi que des services liés à la télématique. Solides compétences en gestion de versions et en collaboration avec des systèmes de contrôle de version tels que Git, Azure DevOps. Compréhension des protocoles de communication utilisés dans la télématique tels que MQTT, WebSocket, etc. Bonne compréhension des principes de sécurité et de confidentialité liés aux données télématiques. Capacité à participer activement au processus de livraison de produits, en collaboration avec les équipes de développement et de gestion de projet. Excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes et en dépannage. Capacité à travailler en équipe et à communiquer efficacement avec les membres de l'équipe technique et non technique.
