DUTIES: Reporting to the Manager Employment Services and Academic Upgrading, Northern College the Employment Services Coordinator has the lead responsibility in the administration and delivery of the full suite of Employment Services including the SJS program, offered within the Employment Options Emploi program, funded by Employment Ontario and the Ministry of Community and Social Services and Cochrane District Social Administration Board. The incumbent is responsible for the overall day-to-day activities at the Centre and in the communities of the region, including the Community Learning Centres. This will include participant and employer recruitment, intake and assessment, career advising, job development, training plan development, workshop delivery, marketing, matching and placement of participants, monitoring of activities, file documentation and statistical collection and reporting. The Employment Services Coordinator has the lead responsibility in the management and Ministry reporting of the Client Activity Tracking System (CATS), the CaMS system, and the Employment Support Management System (ESMA).
The incumbent will be required to backfill and/or replace in all positions within the Employment Options Emploi program.
The incumbent is also the Service Provider Registration Authority for TCU’s Employment Ontario Information System – Case Management System (EOIS-CaMS).
