About the Position:
The Production/Service Team Lead, will be responsible for leading, guiding and setting goals for the production & installation teams while maintaining a customer oriented and high performance culture among the staff. The position requires a broad skill set with an emphasis on leadership, interpersonal skills, and process flow in a sales & production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, an unwavering desire to both share and expand their experience, and a passion for organizing and leading. They are composed when under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor file activity throughout the process from sales to completed installation
Be a customer ambassador who is passionate about creating a positive support experience throughout the process
Direct resolution of customer issues together with the service team
Purchasing of advanced material to ensure long lead time purchases are fulfilled
Direct regular team meetings to ensure everyone is on task
Partner closely with peers and other internal teams, ensuring schedules are maintained and a customer focused view is taken at all times
Plan, implement and monitor the production & installation schedules, reviewing and adjusting as required together with the appropriate team members
Make recommendations to the HR manager to meet production targets
Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including sales, engineering, production and service
Potential growth within the position from operational to senior management team
Qualifications:
College Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in related field is expected
3+ years of experience in a similar role is required, any experience in a lead management role would be a definite advantage
Hands-on software experience, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mission critical production environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with well-rounded organizational & customer service experience & abilities
Demonstrated self-starter who is willing to change quickly between roles, duties and tasks
