•Preparing and processing bi-weekly payroll transactions for both hourly and salaried employees, non-unionized, Quebec, Ontario and US (Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky) •Performing account analysis and reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies •Knowledge and understanding of general ledgers •Maintain accurate on-going reports for distribution with regardsto headcount and other financialreporting as requested. •Acting as the main liaison for transmission of information with the company's payroll provider – ADP Services •Entering payroll data and assisting in compilation of month-end reports •Building and maintaining positive employee relations and acting as the main point of contact for employee related payroll issues and concerns •Maintain the confidentiality of all information and records associated with the payroll system •Maintain employee files that are current and accurate •Process all documentation and final pay for terminated employees •Monitor changes in payroll legislation and recommend appropriate procedural changes for the payroll system •Verifies information submitted on timesheets for accuracy and completeness following the guidelines for each employee group •Performs other payroll duties including the administration of Canada Savings Bonds, the maintenance of deferred salary arrangements, the processing of Orders to Garnishee Wages, ECLIPS, and similar payroll deduction items •Verifies accuracy of payroll output and forwards payroll cheques and pay statements for distribution •Reconciles all quarterly and year end payroll registers against year-to-date and accounting records and produces all year end documentation including T4, T4A’s, T4 and T4A Summaries, W2 •Acting as a team member with Finance, Human Resources and Administration

Compétences recherchées:
•4 years experience directly related to payroll systems in multiple international locations
•Good working knowledge of basic accounting principles, procedures and strong knowledge of current Canadian and United States Payroll legislation
•Must be very accurate with figures, calculations, and numeric data entry. Attention to detail is an essential part of the position
•Excellent skills providing administrative duties with above intermediate skill set for Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel. Basic Navision and Jet Report skills an asset
•Strong organization and time management skills; must be able to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines
•Must have the ability to use judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
