Job Description
Under the supervision of the foreman, the brush cutter will be responsible for various stand improvement treatments, including:
- Plantation clearing
- Cleaning (hardwoods and selectively thinned softwoods)
- Pre-commercial thinning (PCT)
Multiple work sectors are available throughout Quebec.
Requirements / Qualifications
The ideal candidate should:
- Have at least one year of experience
- Have all necessary equipment (possibility of providing)
- Be in good physical shape and enjoy working in the forest
- Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility
- Possess a vehicle for forest travel (an asset, otherwise the possibility of arranging transportation)
Work Locations
Several contract locations available: Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Mauricie, Bas St-Laurent, Côte Nord, Capitale-Nationale, Laurentides/Lanaudière, Outaouais, Abitibi, and Nord-du-Québec.
