K2 Marketing Inc. is a promotional-marketing and advertising firm located in the heart of Oshawa. We provide a unique service for our clients, who range from the sports and racing industry to the non-profit industry. We are currently looking for a fresh layer of team members to help us expand our marketing campaigns.
We have several openings for an entry-level event marketing position. This position has many different layers that contribute to its multi-dimensional nature; marketing, sales, customer service, promotional activity and event management are all part of this entry level position. Our competent managers and coaches will begin to train selected candidates in each of these domains within 1-2 weeks.
Please be aware that there is no door-to-door, no business-to-business and no telemarketing involved. This is an event-based marketing position.
Who We're Looking For:
• We are searching for candidates who are seeking an entry-level position, OR, those who are willing to restart a career from the ground up. Our company only promotes from within -- our philosophy is, how can you coach a sport you don't know how to play?
• Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. Since we work with the public on a daily basis one must be able to communicate product strategy effectively with their clients.
• We are searching for candidates with an extraordinary work ethic - willing to stay later to complete goals, willing to go the extra mile.
• It is also important for our candidates to be looking for full-time work since we do not have any part-time positions available.
• Having access to a vehicle is important since we do travel to on-site events. Not always necessary, but can be an asset!
