Our ground chuck is made to our specifications and it is always fresh never frozen. Our Signature Burgers featuring house-made toppings and sauces set us apart with exceptional flavor combinations. Our menu features fresh hand-cut French fries, cooked in trans-fat-free canola oil, homemade milkshakes with 3 scoops of ice cream, fresh salad greens and traditional poutine. Our restaurants are 1,000 to 2,500 sq. feet and seat 20 - 50 guests and have a modern look focusing on natural materials to give it an "old school" feel. Our philosophy is to serve excellent gourmet burgers in a clean, cool, casual environment with exceptional service.

Main Duties:

Responsible for the planning, organization, operation, and evaluation of the restaurant on a daily basis regarding food, sales, and customer service.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
Ensure a guest centric environment in accordance with Big Smoke Burger culture; provide pleasant, quick, efficient and accurate service and resolve guest service issues.
Responsible for interviewing and hiring new team members.
In Charge of developing training schedules, providing hands on training, and evaluating employees in training.
Responsible for monitoring staff performance, conducting team member evaluations, and terminating employment when necessary.
Accurately create team member work schedules that ensure a high level of customer service, as well as maintain a reasonable labour percentage.
Work with guests to plan and cost out catering orders for various events and office orders.
Responsible of maintaining a work place free from discrimination & harassment and insure on the job safety
Ensure compliance with corporate policies an procedures and perform appropriate follow-up with the unit team
Place orders with suppliers for food, beverage, and paper goods supplies, accept deliveries from suppliers, count and maintain product inventory.
Resolve guest complaints, and ensure guest leave having received the highest levels of customer service and food quality.


Requirements:

Diploma in Hospitality or/and Food and Beverage
Have 4 or more years of experience in food industry
Must be a team player with strong leadership abilities, who works well under pressure.
Must be willing to jump in and assist team members when necessary.

Wage is $19 an hour, 40 hours a week
