Skill Requirement:
Education: Completion of high school (grade 12) or equivalent
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or 6 months caregiver training certificate or equivalent
Languages: speak English, Read English, Write English
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral Communication, Problem solving, Critical thinking
David Yau is looking for an in-home caregiver for his two twin boys aged 9 years old and one daughter aged 7 years old. Supervise and care for children; prepare children for rest periods; help children with homework; organize activities such as games and outings for children; prepare craft materials and assist children to use them; instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; read to children prepare and serve nutritious meals; wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; travel with family on trips and assist with children supervision and housekeeping duties; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; take children to and from school and to appointments
