• Less than One year of experience in Office managing environment.
• Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
• Excellent oral communication in “English, Hindi and Punjabi” to recruit new Indian immigrants with inability of spoken English.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a programme of 1 to 2 years education from Canadian Institute
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Highly effective teamwork skills
• Well conversant with Business Equipment and Computer Applications like Electronic scheduler, Database software, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word, MS Windows.
• Should be own transport or willing to travel by public transportation.


JOB DESCRIPTION UNDER NOC 1221:
• Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, mail, diaries, meeting, and event coordination to support the effective operation of the command/business unit.
• Collect and compile information, and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making.
• Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and procedures.
• Respond to personal, phone and email enquiries which may include reception services, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.
• Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored and accessible.
• Provide administrative support by providing guidance on organisational records management procedures which may include creating, managing, and archiving files in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures
• Monitor email inbox to manage meeting proposals, action items, and proactively address or delegate inquiries.
• Manage diary/calendar daily including coordinate meetings, book meeting location and equipment resources, prioritize scheduling, and manage conflicts.
• Responsible for the day-to-day general office management including maintaining confidentiality of files, order office supplies, computer equipment, expense management; review Unit Payroll Expense Report (UPER) for transit each pay period to ensure consistency and reasonableness
• Assist in helping solve administrative and operational problems by conducting research and recommending solutions.
• Provide administrative support on various ad employment projects; develop communications, meeting/conference material, documents, and presentations as required.
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
• Maintain contact lists.
• Provide general support to visitors.

COMPENSATION: wage $23.50 per hour and free parking.
START DATE: ASAP
WORK HOURS: 35 to 44 Per week and flexible schedule for some weekends and evenings
