1 Import/Export Coordinator (NOC 1215) full time, permanent position available at 7420 Airport Road, Suite 203, Mississauga, L4T 4E5 Ontario
An established International freight forwarding company based in Mississauga is looking for an Import/Export Coordinator to assist our Operations Manager.
The successful candidate must have least 1-2 years in International Freight Forwarding experience, an excellent command of the English language both written and oral and have the ability to multi-task. Excellent customer service is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of files opening, rating, tracing, manifesting and releasing of the shipment
Arrange priority shipments and advise the status to the teams
Provide clients withe exceptional service by offering timely and accurate information regarding their shipments
Pay carrier based on their contract
Send manifests to corresponding customs broker or clients
Close the file for accounting purposes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of freight forwarding
Experience in ocean import
Basic computer knowledge
Client service orientation
Quick service maker
Ability to work under pressure and to deal with high volume of emails
Strong organization and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management
6+ months in a coordinator role
Experience working with international clientele is an asset
Wage Rate: $23.00/hour
