S.i. Systems is looking to support our large Toronto-based Health Care client in their upcoming needs for experienced Systems Analysts for the maintenance and development of clinical and administrative applications. Responsibilities include: ? Gathering of requirements from application stakeholders and vendors to develop requirements ? Translation of functional requirements to technical specifications ? Writing SQL queries of medium to high complexity, including query optimization against Oracle or SQL Server databases ? Writing reports using Cerner propriety language CCL ? Developing programs that output data from a relational database in different formats e.g. CSV files, plain text, formatted reports ? Designing user-friendly screens that prompt for report parameters ? Designing presentation-level reports using a graphical development environment ? Writing reporting programs that gather data using several queries and combine them for final output ? Preparing test scripts and processes in conjunction with the Informatics business and clinical analysts ? Documentation of completed product, including code, training and support scripts Experience in the following type of software development skills required: ? Quest ? Cerner Command Language (CCL) ? Experience with Unix platforms ? TOAD ? Oracle SQL Developer ? Crystal Reports ? Java Script ? Cerner Layout Builder ? Cerner EKM Editor ? Oracle Database ? SQL*Navigator ? SQL*Plus ? Unix Shell Scripting ? Visual Studio Suite Other skills required: - Experience developing documents for various project phases - Experience in healthcare-related application development - Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
