Job duties
• Build models
• Manage landscaping projects
• Prepare conceptual designs
• Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
• Survey and assess designated sites
• Water and tend to plants
• Plant and move trees
• Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes
• Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
• Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures
• Clean and repair landscaping damage
• Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties
• Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed
Requirements:
-Education: Completion of high school
-Experience: At least two years of experience as a landscape or grounds maintenance labourer is required. If Candidate does not have 2 years of experience then a post-secondary certificate is required
-Worker must be familiar with plants, trees and different species of grass
-Weight Handling: 50 lbs.
-Great physical health
-Class A Driver’s license is an asset
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 Hourly, between 35 -40 hours per week

Work schedule will be from Tuesday to Saturday. Workday will start at 7:00 AM and will end at 2:30 PM.
Employee will always work a minimum of 30 hours regardless of the weather condition. Worker can work on winter on snow blowing / small landscaping.
