Detailed description: 
• Maintain and monitor laboratories, including supplies, equipment, inventory, and perform various activities related to maintaining laboratories.
• Supervise and coordinate lab sessions in various courses, including ordering, organizing and preparing lab supplies and equipment.
• Maintain sensitive equipment, including calibration.
• Plan lab development; participate in equipment purchases and installation.
• Provide technical support and act as a resource person to students and researchers.
• Recommend on lab demonstrators assignment; supervise and train lab demonstrators.
• Administer lab exams and prepare grades.
• Develop, maintain and update user training guides, lab manuals, tutorials and instructional aids.
• Perform other lab support activities as required, including back up of other technical staff as required.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Perform health and safety inspection of all the teaching and research laboratories in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department.
• Perform other health and safety related activities as required.

Details: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with seven years of work experience related to clean room environment and microelectronics devices fabrication. Master’ Degree an asset.
• Good spoken and written English language skills (Level 4) in order to communicate effectively with students and faculty; basic spoken French (Level 3) to respond to general inquiries.
• Keen attention to details with good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Aptitude to work in a service-oriented environment both as member of a team and independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel to produce documents and reports.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations an asset.
