For over a century our client has ventured in real estate, owning, developing and managing commercial and industrial properties. Our client
is currently looking for a Lease Administrator to report directly to the Controller and take over this position from a long serving employee
whom shall be taking retirement.
** Responsibilities include but not limited to: **
• Drafting, proofing and finalizing lease agreements
• Entering leases, amendments and other documents into lease administration software
• Maintaining the data integrity of all physical and electronic lease files
• Following up on tenants compliance to lease clauses
• Coordinating marketing flyers
• Assisting in the administration of property
• Managing the annual corporate filings
• Following up on any legal actions
• Providing general administrative and organizational support to the team
** The successful candidate shall: **
• Have some knowledge of legal terms pertaining to real estate,
• Have the ability to understand and interpret leases in both English and French,
• Be fluently bilingual in French and English and have excellent communication skills both oral and written,
• Be able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment,
• Be able to multi-task,
• Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
• Skilled in attention to detail.
- Experience with Hopem software is a major asset.
