Job Description:
• Prepare and cook specialty foods such as mousse, butter cream, dessert, savory, wedding cakes, choux bun, petit four, small chocolates, chocolate figurines
• Decorate desserts
• Instruct pastry cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, presentation, decoration and others
• Create new recipes
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Maintain records of food costs and inventory
• Requisition of food and kitchen supplies
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Organize the shop
• Handle the maintenance of the work location
Requirements:
-Education: Completion of high school is required
-Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience as pastry chef then a post-secondary certificate is required
Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 hourly – 40 hours per week

Important Information:
Shifts: 6:00AM-12:00PM and 13:00PM-15:00 PM, from Wednesday to Sunday. The shifts can vary according to the business needs and extra hours may be required.
