Full Stack Software Engineer, developer and leader (Remote position, anywhere in the US or Canada) The Purple Squirrel Economics (PSE) is a boutique research and consulting firm specializing in the economic evaluation of new medical technologies. Our clients include many of the leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturers from around the world. Our dedicated staff of full-time employees includes health economists, pharmacologists/pharmacy scientists and market access professionals. The full stack software engineer and project leader will be leading the effort to develop and manage the current and new platforms. As a Full-Stack Web Developer/Engineer at PSE will be collaborating with the partners and directors to build web applications to support the consulting products produced at PSE and also automate some functions using machine learning or else. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, build and evolve web apps, from front to back Working collaboratively with healthcare experts and consulting to develop the platforms Manage and organize the development of the web platform (this opportunity includes both the managing of the newly formed unit and technology development) Software development: The candidate will have to create web software from the front end to the back end Experience or willingness to learn the developing with the following: We used the following programing languages: NET Core Framework, ASP.NET Core 2.1, C#, Angle theme, VueJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Also potentially React, NodeJS, AngularJS, include Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, AWS and the IDE of your choice, RESTful APIs Candidate could get additional support for advanced tasks, such as machine learning or AI, etc. PSE offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with challenging work in a stimulating, collegial environment where everyone is dedicated to conducting and delivering the highest quality research.
