About Us The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and AtkinsRealis. Shoreline Power Group will be completing the Fuel Channel and Feeder Replacement (FCFR) project. The joint venture has been awarded a contract by Bruce Power to execute the Unit 3 FCFR at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Kincardine, Ontario. This project is part of Bruce Powers Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Powers CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064, the project is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program to replace the main components of the reactor. Unit 6 is the first of six reactors being replaced by Bruce Power through the MCR program. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders for Unit 3, as well as construction management and trade labor. The Project Coordinator- Quality Co-op, reporting directly to the Quality Manager on a 12-month contract, will play a key role in leading the timely and comprehensive completion and turnover of construction work package documentation. What is the Opportunity? Ensure completed packages are accurate and have been reviewed by the appropriate work groups. Work closely with QA Close-out review team to coordinate any outstanding tasks. Daily action tracking of scheduled tasks to assure schedule adherence and identify any required escalations. Liaise with client/ANI and other stakeholders as required to ensure packages include all required elements. Manage the timely and frequent reporting of progress of document closeout. Provide support to the project for other areas of project closeout as required. Working closely with all series leads and CITP owners to drive completion of closeout. Scheduling update or breakout meetings as required. Developing and managing the tracking of document closeout (working closely with Document Control Team) Provides status report of project milestones and adjustment to schedules. Copying, filing, scanning and organization of essential Quality documents including but not limited to: NDE Reports PWHT Reports Welding Procedures Weld Maps As Built drawings Creation of accurate as-built drawings and P&ID mark-ups. Coordination of NDE activities. The maintenance of common logs i.e. Calibration, NCR, NDE certifications etc. What You Bring to the Table: Pursuing Engineering or Science degree. Data analytic skills. Presentation skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft office. Important Information When on a construction site, may be subject to extreme noise and heat. May be expected to climb ladders or wear fall protection depending on job location Due to the nature of work conducted by Shoreline, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment Our background check process includes a full security check and clearance process as well as reference checks. The security clearance process includes a comprehensive list of previous residences, employment, education, and other pertinent information.
