The Picker/Packer’s main responsibilities within warehouse are described below:
•Accurately pick orders using RF equipment while meeting a minimum accuracy target
•Pick customer orders at a pace that allows the team to meet customer expectations
•Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipping with the goal to minimize service failures such as breakage and picking errors
•Work in a safe manner and follow all company and government related health & safety policy
•Follow the instructions of the outbound team lead and or warehouse manager
•Demonstrate Standard’s core company values
•Perform sundry tasks and duties, as assigned by supervisor
•Perform system guided replenishment in a timely and accurate manner.

Detailed description: 
Reporting to the Outbound Team Lead and the Warehouse Manager, the role of a picker/packer within a Standard Products facility will be to work within a team environment while performing the responsibilities as prescribed below. The individual will be expected to perform said duties while ensuring that both internal and external health and safety policies are adhered. The individual will be an integral part of the warehouse team with the primary responsibility of supporting the outbound team to ensure both internal and external customer expectations are met and or exceeded on a daily basis. The ability to work well in a fast paced team environment is critical, and the individual must also be able to demonstrate Standard Products Core values that the company is modelled. You will be part of an energetic and dedicated team that plays a leading role in the sales and distribution of commercial and industrial lighting in Canada.

• Être fiable
• Avoir d’excellentes aptitudes de communication en français et en anglais, orales et écrites
• Posséder au minimum un diplôme d’études secondaire ou équivalent
• Avoir au moins un an d’expérience dans un poste similaire
• Être en mesure de passer de longues périodes à marcher et à rester debout
• Avoir une expérience avec SAP est un atout mais n’est pas obligatoire
• Avoir une expérience avec de l’équipement RF est un atout mais n’est pas obligatoire
• La préférence sera accordée aux candidats possédant une expérience à manipuler les équipements de manutention, soit chariot élévateur/chariot élévateur à fourche rétractable/transpalette.

Minimum experience required:

Qualifications required: 
• Reliable
• Min of one year of similar previous experience required.
• Ability to spend long periods walking/standing
• Previous experience using SAP an asset but not required
• Previous experience using RF equipment an asset but not required
• Preference given to previous experience in operating MHE, e.g. reach-trucks/forklifts/power pallet movers.
