Under the Excellence Director, the person’s main responsibilities are to Lead Continuous Improvement and Lean Culture deployment throughout Camoplast Solideal concentrating on manufacturing sites and other elements of the value stream (distribution centers, warehouses, service centers, …) .

Furthermore, he or she will:
•Promote operations performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
•Provide Leadership / mentoring / training to all levels and functions on the use and practice of Lean methodology (eg.: extended value stream management) tools; along with Quality Management System elements
•Partner with functional leaders, Business Units and site managers to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities
•Work closely with BU’s and sites to create a continuous improvement plan aligned on their operating plan and corporate goals (using operational diagnostic and strategic alignment sessions)
•Applies and monitor methodologies to support sites and installations in Lean concepts based on Lean Roadmap
•Applies and monitor methodologies and programs to instill a safety culture
•Plan and assist in the execution of various Lean transformation Kaizen events targeted towards improving the operations
•Act as an enabler in providing assistance and counseling as required to ensure that the Lean best practices are deployed and sustained after implementation
•Supports Lean improvement through the organization of specific Lean events and best practice sharing forums
•Assess team member and overall program leader performance to ensure their professional development
•Administer safety, process, and product training sessions for Camoplast Solideal employees and customers
•Facilitate quality, delivery, and customer service improvements for OE, wholesale, and end user customers

•Engineering or Operations BAC, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
•MBA or equivalent, an asset
•Minimum 10 year experience
•Experience working with different cultures (Europe, Asia, …)
•Demonstrated experience in manufacturing, global distribution and logistic (end-to-end information & material flow).
•Strong and demonstrated skills for synthesis and diagnostic of complex matters
•Analytical skills
•Demonstrated success in facilitating\leading several kaizen\workshops
