Main functions: 
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Customer Service and Quotations Representative serves customers, support sales and marketing staff and secures contract business by providing timely and accurate quotations and coordinating contract business. You will also be in charge of obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner and initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Detailed description: 
Your main responsibilities will be:

• Receive and process quote requests from customers, customer service, and sales/marketing personnel as per current procedures
• Ensure all necessary ESBE personnel are notified of pending quotations within specified timelines
• check tender websites daily for the province of Quebec
• Read tender documents and understand the terms and conditions that must be flagged for other team members to provide their input/responses
• Provide professional responses to tenders, complete the forms accurately and meet deadlines as per current procedures
• Maintain contract pricing and standing orders
• Access the company’s ERP system to obtain and extract order information (backorder status, tracking numbers, delivery dates, lead times, etc.)
• Enter customer issues, authorizing product returns, clearly describing circumstances and reasons for return on Return Authorization records
• Complete translation of items pertaining to the ESBE website, marketing and/or training materials, as requested
• Provide back-up support for order entry

EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED:

Post-secondary science degree or certificate and aptitude for mathematics
Fluent in French and English – oral and written
Must be able to understand the terms and conditions in tenders
Sound knowledge of word processing and database programs
Previous customer service / quotation coordinator experience an asset
Laboratory hands on experience an asset
