Detailed description: 
The incumbent is responsible for establishing and overseeing execution of major goals and objectives for the organization, including securing funding and leading a strong team of professional staff and global network of committed volunteers.

S(he) represents the organization and acts as a principal spokesperson with key stakeholders to foster quality health care globally for people with bleeding disorders.

Specific responsibilities of the position center around five main areas: 1- Strategic Leadership 2- Financial Management 3- Operational Oversight 4- Revenue Generation 5- Communications and Marketing.

Working experience
Minimum experience required: 
10 years
Qualifications required: 
Min. 5 years of executive team management experience in global healthcare, international development, not-for-profit, or related field, and additional 8-10 years of relevant work experience; Superior interpersonal skills, including collaborative and diplomatic abilities to raise funds and liaise effectively with a broad range of stakeholders worldwide; Demonstrated strong leadership skills, and ability to innovate and implement new initiatives; A global perspective and experience working with boards, committees and volunteers; available for extensive international travel; Superior oral and written English (main language of work); fluent in at least one other international language (French, Spanish, others). Canada-based compensation package (salary 125-175k) will be commensurate with professional background and experience. Montreal residence is essential (or available to relocate rapidly).
