Main functions:	The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) whose main office is located in Kuujjuaq, is looking for a reliable and resourceful person to work in the capacity of: CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR with the Northern Villages of Nunavik for the realization of retention lagoons for wastewater treatment, a project under the management of the Municipal Public Works department (MPW). Under the supervision of the department Director, and working closely with the other employees of the department, the person will be responsible for: • assisting the NVs with realization of wastewater retention lagoons; • assisting the NVs with planning and operation of heavy equipments; • follow the evolution and the quality in regards to the plans and specifications; • represent KRG at the construction coordination meetings; • reporting problems faced on site to his supervisor and be able to propose practical solutions in short delays; • doing other related duties as requested by his supervisor.

Detailed description:	JOB OPPORTUNITY The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) whose main office is located in Kuujjuaq, is looking for a reliable and resourceful person to work in the capacity of: CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR with the Northern Villages of Nunavik for the realization of retention lagoons for wastewater treatment, a project under the management of the Municipal Public Works department (MPW). QUALIFICATIONS: • relevant work experience in Civil works field; • have a minimum of five years of relevant experience; • be able to read blueprints and to use surveying equipments (level, laser…); • have qualifications as heavy equipment operator; • have a driver's license; • possess communication skills (oral and writing) in at least two of the following languages: Inuttitut, English, French; Place of work: Nunavik; selected candidate must be willing to travel around Nunavik.
