Vacation Pay: 4 % Skill Requirements: Minimum Education: High School Languages: Basic English Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the related field is required. It does not have to be supervisory. Job location: 34050 Hallert Road, Abbotsford, BC, V3G 1P9 Job Duties: • Co-ordinate and Supervise greenhouse team in daily crop work and harvesting activities and perform work quality checks. • Supervise and oversee growing Bell Peppers production at our greenhouse. • Develop work schedules and establish procedures .Assist & Supervise greenhouse team in successfully starting and completing all greenhouse vegetable tasks such as harvesting, pruning,, greenhouse clean out, and planting,packing ,Storing & distrributing . • Maintain quality control and production records. .Observe workers to detect inefficient or unsafe work procedures or to identify problems, initiating corrective action as necessary. 'Review employees’ work to evaluate quality and quantity .Train workers in techniques such as planting and in the use of safety measures & Ensure greenhouse safety procedures are followed Additional Skills: Effective leadership, conflict resolution and delegation skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
