Program/Student Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between our school, our partners in Canada and overseas, international students, instructors. The coordinator will assist the manager in developing and monitoring international student programs and overseas all administrative aspects of the programs. In her/his role of student service coordinator, the coordinator provide international students support with their academic and sociocultural progress, and is also responsible for providing support and daily life advice to help international students succeed. Job Responsibilities: Program Coordination • Serve as primary program liaison with partners regarding international student program development, accounting, and other issues of concern or interest • Coordinate all administrative aspects of international program development and implementation in collaboration with other officer staff. • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain budgetary controls • Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, including print and digital materials • Assist manager as directed Student Services • Assisting students and parents throughout application and registration process into the program • Coordinating custodianship and homestay program and after-landing services for international students • Liaising among international students, school personnel (teachers, faculty, counselors), and students’ families to monitor, address and help develop international student’s academic, social, and behavioral performance inside and outside of school. • Assisting school staff in completing a Student Performance report • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or related area. • Previous experience coaching, mentoring or counseling youth. • Previous experience with administration and/or coordination of student activities • Previous experience in teaching, training or class facilitation strong preferred • Strong technical skills including proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word, Adobe InDesign • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities. • Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken with strong attention to details • Familiarity with second languages and cultures preferred • Willing to travel overseas when needed • Willing to respond to emergencies after hours Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to cultural diversity and the ability to work with individuals or groups from diverse backgrounds.
