Job Description: Company: Harjasjot Blueberry Farm Position: Farm Worker Number of positions: 5 Terms of employment: Full-time - Permanent; Year- round work Salary: $12.65 per hour Anticipated start date: As soon as possible Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing and walking Work site Environment: Outdoors, wet, damp, rain, shine, hot, cold weather Farm/Work Location(s): 26070, 36Ave, Aldergrove, BC – V4W 2A7 Job Duties: • Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops. • Pruning and thinning. • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. • Examine produce for quality and prepare for market. • Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce for transport. • Other farm related duties as required.
