Raymar Industries Ltd. is a millwork and cabinet company operating in the same location in Langley for 30 years. We are seeking a full-time experienced millwork cabinetmaker with a positive attitude who can work in a team environment as well as independently, communicating clearly with supervisor and co-workers to produce custom case goods and millwork and to ensure product completeness and consistent quality. Qualifications, Skills, and Responsibilities Must be able to read and interpret hand sketches, shop drawings, and cut-lists High attention to details, with a good mechanical aptitude. Strong problem solving ability, with good communication skills. Proficiency in English, and basic arithmetic is a must Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, to produce parts from sheet goods Sand and file as necessary to produce quality finished faces and edges - includes plastic laminate work Install and adjust all necessary hardware Assemble parts into finished millwork components Clean items and prepare for shipping Must be able to multi-task Work within a small team environment Manage time effectively and responsibly to meet project deadlines Ask for help when required Work visa to be able to work in Canada, if not a Canadian citizen. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carefully manipulate objects up to 50 pounds in weight on a regular basis. Operate miscellaneous millwork machinery This position may include some installation. Experience Minimum 4years Experience in both laminates and woodwork Experience with table saws and other woodworking machinery Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots; Safety glasses/goggles
