Job Title: Internal Auditor (NOC 1111) Wage: $29/hour Job type: Permanent, Full time Location: Richmond, BC The successful candidate will be responsible for the Key Responsibilities listed as the following: (1)Perform financial and operational audits, control the audit cycle of Miniso Canada, which includes operational efficiency, data and information security and financial compliance of both Canadian laws, the established regulations of Miniso headquarters in China (2)Examine our company’s tolerance for risks, the existing plans for detecting,mitigating and monitoring risks, come up with value-added solutions to mitigate risks or reduce risk management costs and to make sure the emerging risks are being properly considered (3)Attend meetings to understand the way Miniso Canada operates, travel to different Miniso retail stores to obtain requisite information to ensure Miniso Canada has the proper financial controls, governance and risk management processes (4)Identify and evaluate breakdowns in controls and opportunities to improve existing policies, procedures, processes and risk management techniques (5)Analyze daily financial reports for accuracy, monitor compliance with applicable accounting policies and internal control framework (6)Ensure documentation is updated in a timely manner to reflect changes in the business process, prepare audit and control reports for Miniso China headquarters by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operating information Skills/Qualifications: (1)A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; (2)At least 5 years of experience in public accounting or private industry with knowledge of accounting and internal control areas; (3)Be able to communicate in Mandarin and draft reports in Chinese is an asset; (4)Strong attention to details and excellent analytical skills; (5)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively perform duties within time constraints and deadlines, and successfully manage several tasks at one time; Send your resume to:[email protected]
