Kelly O’Bryan’s Restaurant - Kelowna is looking for 2 Line Cooks to join our team! This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), $13.00 per hour. Work location is in downtown Kelowna – 262 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC. The job duties are as follows: • Prepare, plan and cook complete meals, such as sauces, soups, salads, vegetables and meat, poultry and fish dishes, and ensure meal presentation is to the highest quality • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Oversee kitchen operations • Store incoming produce, meat and dairy orders into proper storage spaces • Communicate kitchen rules and restaurant standards between kitchen manager and workers • Clean kitchen and work areas. Successful candidates must have the following credentials: • Minimum 1-2 years of previous restaurant work experience • Post-secondary education in the field is not required but is an asset • Be able to communicate in English • Proper use of kitchen tools and equipment and lock out procedures • Basic understanding of culinary terminology.
