Position Summary
Our cohesive laboratory team at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Technical Lead, Cytotechnologist Grade III. Days of work are Monday to Friday day shifts, with weekends and stat days off. This position offers a $10,000 signing bonus plus generous relocation allowance. Effective April 1, 2024 the wage rate is $38.07 to 47.39/hr

About the job:

Cytotechnologists work in team-based environments and perform a variety of duties within the Lab related to established cytology procedures. This is a hands-on and varied role which may include attending fine needle aspiration (FNA) clinics, screening non-gynecologic specimens, performing quality assurance and assisting in the development and implementation of new initiatives.

Qualfications
? Graduate of a CSMLS approved Cytology program plus three years' recent, related Cytology experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
? Current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS)
