Job Description *We are an equal opportunity employer and Part time applicants are encouraged to apply* The Holiday Inn Express Golden is looking for Full Time & Part Time hotel cleaners. The work is located in Golden, British Columbia at the Holiday Inn Express. Hotel Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities : • Complete cleaning tasks on assigned rooms, hotel areas and floors within the prescribed timeframes • Carry towels, linens, toiletry and cleaning supplies, using the assigned hotel wheeled carts • Perform the cleaning in accordance with hotel standards, safety and cleanliness standards • Clean waste bins and dispose of all waste items from rooms • Replenish kitchen and coffee supplies • Ensure that service carts are well stocked for the assigned floors and hotel areas • Sweep, mop and polish floors, using approved hotel cleaning tools • Clean rugs and carpets, upholsteries, curtains and draperies, using specified vacuum cleaners and shampooers • Dust/Clean furniture, rearange draperies to their original placements Hotel Housekeeping Skills and Specification • Dependable, responsible, honest and hardworking • Able to follow directions • Have good interpersonal skills to get along with other people • Have manual dexterity in the use of cleaning tools and appliances Hotel Housekeeping Education and Qualifications • No formal education is required and most skills are learned on-the-job or through formal training conducted by the hotel Physical Aspects of Position • Constant standing and walking throughout shift • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting • Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps • Repetitive tasks in a fast paced environment If you are interested in joining the world's leading hospitality organization, come apply.
