Experience: no experience Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships,etc.): Class one driver's license with Air-Brake (Z) Endorsement Type of Travel: Long Haul, Regional, National and International Documentation Knowledge: Driver Logbook, Bill of Landing, Inspection Report (pre-trip, post-trip, en-route), Trans Border Documentation, Maintenance, Repair and Trip Reports Salary: $ 24/hour for 40 hours/week Benefits: After 3 months of working, company will provide extended medical benefits that includes dental and prescription The company will provide Financial Support for relocation to suitable candidates. Specific Skills: Operate and Drive Straight or articulated trucks, weighing over 4600kg with three or more axels to transport goods and materials to destinations Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading , safety and security of cargo Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment's such as tires, lights, brakes and cold storage Perform emergency roadside repairs Record Cargo Information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in log book May drive as part of two person team and convoy May transport hazardous products or dangerous goods Transportation /Travel Information: Willing to travel cross border, willing to travel for extended periods, willing to travel overnight, willing to travel and drive as a team Financial Support : Financial support to find suitable accommodation and relocation costs will be provided to eligible candidates.
