A varied technical role with room for advancement The City of Prince George’s Landsdowne Road Wastewater Treatment Centre is one of the most cost effective Level 4 wastewater treatment facilities in British Columbia and includes both primary and secondary treatment. The treated wastewater meets or exceeds all the Ministry of environment’s current requirements. The process is energy-efficient, operator friendly and stable, and it produces high quality effluent. Based in our storm/sewer lift stations and treatment facility, you will be part of the safety oriented team responsible for the equipment’s smooth operation. You will operate, inspect and service equipment, perform preventive maintenance and ensure maintenance and plant records are accurate and up to date. Along with Grade 12, completion of a technological training program related to wastewater treatment, a valid EOCP Wastewater Treatment Certificate Class 1, and one year of wastewater treatment experience, you demonstrate a commitment to safety, teamwork and quality.
